UPDATE: GSP Searching for Person Who Hit Patrol Car

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — A Fort Oglethorpe man is still on the run, after state troopers say he hit one of their patrol cars in Catoosa County.

The Georgia State Patrol says they stopped Joseph Lolley around 10 a.m., Saturday, on State Route 146 at Park Lake Road.

The trooper who pulled him over tells News 12 Lolley hit the patrol car with his vehicle, and then ran away.

The state trooper says he got Lolley’s driver’s license before he took off, and learned he was already wanted on felony warrants for a probation violation.

GSP says they took Lolley’s passenger, Christopher Holt, into custody for having what they believed to be methamphetamine.

The patrol car has minor damage.
