Bama Losing Defensive Coordinator Tosh Lupoi to the NFL

According to media reports on Wednesday, Bama defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi is leaving Tuscaloosa to take the defensive line coaching job for the Cleveland Browns. Lupoi becomes the fifth assistant to leave the Tide program since the end of the year. Lupoi was promoted to defensive coordinator before the 2018 season following the departure of Jeremy Pruitt. Prior to that, Lupoi served as the Tide’s outside linebackers coach for three seasons.
