Chattanooga State New Interim President

Dr. Fannie Hewlett will start in February.

She’s a former provost and vice president for Academic Affairs at the community college.

She retired last June after 35 years of service.

Former President Jim Catanzaro retired after the staff raised questions about some of his hiring practices and money management.

The Tennessee Board of Regents say they’re fortunate that Dr. Hewlett was available to help while they search for a permanent replacement.
