False bomb threat at East Hamilton High

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County Schools said there was a bomb threat at East Hamilton High School on Tuesday.

They said a written bomb threat was found at the high school. School officials evacuated the building and contact law enforcement.

Hamilton County officers searched the building. Officers said the threat was “unfounded.”

Since there was no real threat, students returned to the building.

School officials said the day will continue as was scheduled.

Hamilton County Schools said law enforcement is still investigating the incident.

In addition, there was water sprayed around the soccer field and parking lot of the school this morning. However, the principal said this spray was not related to the bomb threat.
