East Ridge Police rule shooting was accidental

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – East Ridge Police say a shooting Thursday was accidental.

A 16 year old male was shot in a home.

He was taken to the hospital with what was believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.

Detectives say the teen shot himself accidentally.

However, their investigation into how and where he got the gun is still underway.
