TDOT update on weather conditions

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- All air temperatures are staying at or below freezing, and most roads have accumulations of patchy snow and ice.  We are experiencing freezing rain in a good portion of Region 2 and there are problems, particularly in our Cookeville and Crossville areas.  Drivers are strongly urged to stay home if you don’t have to travel until conditions improve.  Those who must travel during this time are urged to use caution. 

District 29 (Chattanooga) – I-24 in Hamilton County and I-75 in Hamilton, Bradley and McMinn counties have patches of snow and ice.  Crews are salting and plowing.
