1-year-old flown to hospital after drowning incident

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — Authorities in Bradley County responded to a call of a child nearly drowning on Thursday.

They got the call around 5 p.m. and responded to the 1900 block of Bancroft Road.

First responders provided life-saving measures on the one-year-old child.

EMS then took the child to a Life Force helicopter, which flew the child to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital.

Police did not give the current status of the child’s well-being.

However, they are still investigating at this time.
