Pro Edge Motorsports Raises Funds for St. Jude

Over the past 3 years, they have been able to donate 30 thousand dollars to the St. Jude foundation.

"this year we are hoping to be 10,000 dollars that’s what our goal is we dont know where we are at yet but we are real excited about it," says Event Promoter Darrel Lynn.

All of the money from the event is donated in honor of a local resident that passed away.

"Well I met Cody Hurd about 10 years ago and he passed away when ever we decided to do a St. Jude race we decided to do it in honor of Cody Hurd"

Each year, the event has been able to build off of moments from the previous year, and they are looking to continue to do that.

Co-promoter Ezra Parker says "every year it’s a different experience more stuff different stuff"

Although there is some competition going on out on the track, the event is all about supporting St. Jude.

"everybody is kind of layed back this weekend because its really just to have fun and support a good cause"
