Fatal Wreck This Morning on Hixson Pike at Lakesite
Lakesite, TN – (WDEF) Hamilton County investigators blame ice on the road for a deadly crash this morning near Lakesite.
It happened in the 9100 block near Dallas Place.
A car heading north on Hixson Pike hit the ice, and slid into another vehicle head-on.
64 year old Joe H. Dempsey was driving the car that slid.
He was killed in the crash.
Two people in the other car were extricated and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
