Scottsboro shooting victim was from Florida

SCOTTSBORO, Alabama (WDEF) – Alabama authorities are releasing the name of a man who was killed in an argument in Scottsboro over the weekend.

Police say two neighbors got into the fight Saturday afternoon on Maple Avenue.

They now say that 34-year-old Angel Peralta of Panama City, Florida was fatally shot in the incident.

Police arrested 63-year-old Gerry Paul Kelly of Scottsboro for the shooting on Saturday.
