Chattanooga man facing multiple sexual assault charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A Chattanooga man is in jail after he was indicted on multiple sexual assault charges.

Curtis Carter, 34, was taken into custody by Hamilton County deputies on Thursday.

According to court document, Carter was indicted on two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

A judge set his bond at $12,000

Carter is due in court March 27.
