Planned power outage in Polk County Friday night
POLK COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Volunteer Energy Cooperative is planning a power outage in Polk County this Friday.
The power outage will start Friday, October 13 at 11:30 p.m. They plan for the outage to last two and a half hours.
It should end at 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
The company says the outage will affect all members of Benton and Ocoee substations in Polk County.
They have also already notified all members who will be affected.
