Walker County Detective Fired After His Arrest
Walker County, GA (WDEF) – Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson has fired one of his detectives.
Sergeant Robert D. Llewellyn was arrested Tuesday on a charge of battery.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is handling the case.
Sheriff Wilson says Llewellyn was involved in a domestic argument with his wife at their home in Dry Valley on Sunday night.
Investigators say he hit her with his hand and she suffered discoloration and swelling to her cheek and eye.
The Sheriff fired the 13 year veteran after he was charged.
