Bledsoe County Investigator Found Dead

Pikeville, TN (WDEF) – News 12’s Erik Avanier reports live from the scene where the body of Bledsoe investigator Ricky Seals was found overnight north of Pikeville.

The victim is Bledsoe County Investigator Ricky Seals.
Officials tell us the body was first discovered around 2AM.
His last contact with family members was around 10PM last night, when he was in his private vehicle, off duty.

Pikeville, TN (WDEF) – The Bledsoe County Sheriff’s department is investigating the death of one of their own.
The body of one of their investigators was discovered in the middle of Slaughterhouse Road Tuesday morning near Pikeville.
The TBI is now on the scene to handle the investigation.
They are not sure on the cause of death at this point.
We are withholding the name of the victim at this point pending notification of the family.
