HES waives pet adoption fees this December

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Humane Educational Society (HES) is dropping adoption fees for their “Empty the Shelters” event.

HES is partnering with the Bissell Pet Foundation to take $50 off adoptions.

This event starts December 1 and ends on December 17.

Those interested may adopt or foster a cat or a dog for the holidays.

“It helps our staff at the shelter. It allows them more time with their family during the holidays, because there are less animals to take care of,” said Adrienne Coon, Director of Admission at HES. “It also brings families together and gives animals a chance to be home for the holidays.”

To see all available animals, or to fill out an application, visit the Humane Educational Society‘s website.
