Chattanooga’s ‘largest-ever’ drone show is coming to celebrate America250

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Ready the celebrate? The “largest-ever” drone show will be lighting up the skies on July 4th the celebrate America 250.

Hamilton County, in partnership with the City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County Parks and Recreation, and Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors, is inviting residents from across the community to celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary with the largest drone show in local history.

They say the free downtown celebration will feature a world-class 500-drone show above the Tennessee River in a choreographed patriotic performance unlike anything previously seen in the region.

“We’re excited to bring families together on the riverfront for an unforgettable night that captures the spirit, patriotism, and optimism of America. As our nation marks a historic milestone, we’re proud to welcome people from across our region for a celebration that honors our past and looks ahead to our future.”

Produced by Full Spectrum and Pyro Shows, the drone performance will be created by nationally recognized teams behind productions for Disney, Dollywood, Riverbend, and events around the world, according to the Office of the Hamilton County Mayor.

The event will also include a 1,000-foot pyro waterfall cascading from the Market Street Bridge, the largest display of its kind ever produced locally.
