Chattanooga man arrested for nine Bradley County burglaries
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Chattanooga man is behind bars for a string of robberies in Bradley County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Chattanooga police officers arrested 18-year-old Kheir Matut on December 8 and transported him to the Bradley County Jail.
Investigators said he was responsible for nine different auto burglaries in northern Bradley County. Those included theft of a firearm and a 2021 Nissan Rogue.
Authorities booked Matut on many charges, including nine counts of auto burglary, theft over $10,000 and theft of a firearm.
He is being held on a $35,000 bond.
Bradley County deputies are still investigating to identify anyone else who may have been involved in these burglaries.
