Ladd McConkey plans to play in Orange bowl

MIAMI (WDEF) – North Murray High School graduate and Georgia star wide receiver Ladd McConkey plans to play in the Orange Bowl. That is if he is healthy enough to do so.

McConkey, like many Georgia players, have “opted in” to playing in the Orange Bowl against Florida State. The game is coming up this Saturday, December 30 in Miami, Florida.

The conversation stemmed from a meeting after the SEC title game loss.

“I don’t know if it’s specifically addressed, but there was a sense of like, if you’re in you’re in, if you’re out you’re out. If you’re going to be here, don’t be one foot in one foot out. Don’t put half your effort into it. Put everything you have if you’re going to be here, and our guys have done that.”
