Wife pleads guilty to shooting husband

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Bradley County woman entered a guilty plea on Sunday to fatally shooting her husband.

Britany M. Taylor called the sheriff’s office in May of 2022 to say she had just shot Mike Brian Taylor.

She said the two were having an argument at their home on Old Parksville Road.

He died from the gunshot wound.

Taylor pleaded guilty to second degree murder in court on Monday morning.

She received a 17-year prison sentence.
