Shaffer’s European Bakery owner arrested for arson in Collegedale

Collegedale, TN (WDEF) – Collegedale Police arrest the owner of a bakery for arson and filing a false police report.

Shaffer’s European Bakery burned in February, and EMS officials found the owner Steven Shaffer stabbed too.

He told police was robbed, stabbed and the bakery burned down.

Shaffer is accused of staging it all in an attempt to collect insurance money.
