Fatal accident on Hixson Pike

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) A head on collision on Hixson Pike kills one person and sends 4 others to the hospital.

Brenda Boren, 68-years-old, was pronounced dead on the scene.

It happened at around 3 p.m. Friday at 6800 Hixson Pike.

Police say it involved two vehicles.

Four people were taken to the hospital but police say their injuries are non-life threatening at this time.

Police continue to investigate and ask for anyone with information to call the department.
