“Lil Herb” arrested as a result of an ongoing drug investigation
CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A joint operation between Chattanooga police and ATF agents has led to the arrest of a man accused of selling cocaine out of a lawn service truck.
"Lil Herb" aka Mark Young, 34, of Chattanooga was arrested on a warrant for selling and delivering cocaine.
According to investigators, on the afternoon of September 17 of last year, Young sold more than 100 grams of cocaine to an undercover informant.
Local police and federal agents reportedly had Young under surveillance as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
On Thursday afternoon, authorities served an arrest warrant on Young based on their surveillance.
According to authorities, during the time he was seen delivering and selling cocaine, Young was already on federal probation for a previous drug conviction.
His bond was set at $75,000 and his next court date is April 23.
