Wreck turns fatal on Ooltewah Georgetown Road

UPDATE:

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office identified the person killed in a wreck on Ooltewah Georgetown Road.

They identified the victim as Ooltewah-native, Johnny Michael Eaves.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) — A car wreck turned fatal on Monday, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

It happened on January 22 at around 6 p.m. in the 7300 block of Ooltewah Georgetown Road.

Deputies responded to the crash, which involved two vehicles.

First responders took one person to a local hospital. There, they were pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased person.

However, the HCSO Traffic Unit is currently conducting the investigation.
