Lookout Valley and St. Elmo water main break repaired
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Tennessee American Water Company reports that the water main break that limited supply in St. Elmo and Lookout Valley on Tuesday has been fixed.
They say water service has now been restored overnight.
The leak happened in the line on the side of Lookout Mountain on Tuesday morning.
Several businesses had to shut down for a period on Tuesday as a result.
Water Company officials remind customers that if restored water appears to be discolored, run the COLD tap for a few minutes to clear it out.
