TECH BYTE: Samsung’s Artificial Intelligence Smart Phone

Growing up, my generation was told we’d never have technology like calculators at our fingertips.

That statement couldn’t be further from the reality we live in today. Samsung is unveiling a new line of smartphones that leaves the speech and spells my generation grew up with in its virtual dust.

I’m Patrick Moates, welcome to this week’s Tech Byte!

At the end of January, Samsung is rolling out the first ever Artificial Intelligence powered smartphone. The new line of Galaxy Smartphones boasts brighter displays, upgraded cameras along with some new tech to put the power of Google at your fingertips, and make sure your messages aren’t lost in translation.

In partnership with Google, the new Samsung Galaxy will allow you to highlight, circle, tap or scribble around anything on the screen to bring you Google search results in seconds.

It eliminates the need for translation apps with AI Translate. A two-way, real-time voice and text translation instantly translates the live conversation and gives you a text transcript.

AI photo tools can give your social media moments the perfect look with suggesting image tweaks and generative editing can fill in backgrounds, borders, and help put you in the right position.

Until January 31, Samsung is offering storage upgrades, rebates and discounts on their anti-theft package if you pre order online on Samsung.com, Samsung experience stores, and with major cellphone carriers. The pre order discount ends Jan 30.
