Person shot on Wilcox Blvd. is in stable condition, police say

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday on Wilcox Boulevard.

According to CPD, officers responded to reports of a person shot just before 2 p.m. on the 1500 block of Wilcox Boulevard.

Police arrived to find one victim with a gunshot wound.

First responders took the victim to a local hospital. They say that person is in stable condition.

Authorities are still investigating this case.
