Chattanooga PD seek identification of local auto burglar

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) say they are searching for the suspect in several auto burglaries in the Orchard Knob area.

CPD says he is also using children to commit the crimes.

They say he’s been spotted with four kids who are likely in their early teens.

CPD says the children check for unlocked doors, and the suspect then takes belongings from the vehicles.

A reward of up to $5000 is available for information leading to the suspect’s identification and arrest.
