Multi-Vehicle crash results in I-24 slow down

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Tuesday night, a multi-vehicle crash on I-24 Westbound resulted in all lanes being blocked.

According to the Chattanooga Fire Department on X, two cars crashed into each other at 9:23 p.m., with two people entrapped.

The Chattanooga Fire Department was able to free the people and they were transferred to a local hospital with injuries.

The site has been cleaned up with I-24 West now reopened.
