Road Rage suspect gets another week in jail
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Michael Wayne Harvey got another week of jail time in a sentencing hearing this morning for a road rage case in 2022.
The confrontation was caught on video in Soddy Daisy after he followed a woman to her home.
Harvey is seen yelling at her who he says cut him off and then damaging her vehicle.
At one point he tells her “Now, I know where you live.”
After turning himself in, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and vandalism.
The judge called his rant in the video “shocking.”
But he noted Harvey did not have any other violent criminal history.
The judge gave him seven more days in prison, plus probation and anger management.
The judge says Harvey’s case can be an example for us all.
Despite no history of violent behavior, he ended up before the judge.
His advice is, “Taking two breathes could change everything.”
