Bible in the Schools hosts annual luncheon

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Bible in Schools hosted a luncheon at the Convention Center on Monday.

Bible in the Schools started in 1922.

Students are able to take a Bible course as an elective or college credit.

Bible in the Schools serves more than 32 schools across Hamilton County at no cost to taxpayers.

“It’s really important that students have a broad education and includes having some biblical literacy so that they could make application connections from other subjects to biblical literature,” said Cathy Scott. “We are very thankful that the program is offered in 32 middle and high schools across Hamilton County.”

Later this year, Bible in the School will launch a bible literature course at CSAS.

People can donate to Bible in the Schools as well.
