Chattanooga burger week happening now
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Order up! For all you burger lovers out there it is your time to shine.
Chattanooga is having their fourth annual burger week, and it kicked off today.
For seven dollars the community can come out and enjoy a variety of different burgers from local restaurants.
The weeklong event will include fan favorites like Burger Republic, Urban Stack Hi-Fi Clyde’s and Jack Browns. I chatted with manager Katie Strout about Hi-Fi Clyde’s classic burger.
“So, the Clyde’s classic we just do all the basic fixings it’s got dukes mayo, lettuce, tomato, our homemade sweet pickles and our house made Clyde’s mustard. It’s whole grain mustard and then American cheese, apple and bacon,” said Hi- Fi Clyde’s manager Katie Strout.
Chattanooga burger week is a fun filled week for the community to get out and try new things and explore different restaurants around the city. That’s what it’s all about.
Bartender Hayden Turrito gave me the juicy details about their winning burger from last year’s burger week.
“My favorite part of burger week is honestly the chaos of it all and just how excited people are to eat weird burgers and try a bunch of new stuff its cute to like see humans be humans,” said bartender Hayden Turrito.
