Damage at ‘Unclaimed Baggage’ in Scottsboro

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WDEF) – There was some storm damage in parts of Scottsboro.

We saw damage in the Unclaimed Baggage parking lot.

We received a picture from a viewer showing a potential tornado touchdown near that location.

There were some shingles and a couple of light poles knocked down.

Some other nearby businesses were also damaged, and downtown Scottsboro was in the dark for hours.

The National Weather Service will have to determine whether this damage was caused by a tornado.
