Motorcyclist critically injured in Highway 41 wreck
MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A motorcyclist was air lifted to the hospital with serious injuries after crashing on Highway 41 on Friday.
The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash just before 2 p.m.
A motorcyclist crashed on the 20500 block of Highway 41 near Sullivans Landing, Haletown VFD said.
They said the single rider ran off the road, was thrown over a guardrail and down a steep 30-foot embankment.
Haletown firefighters rappelled down the embankment to reach the patient. They said he was critically injured.
Jasper and Kimball firefighters helped bring the motorcyclist up the embankment.
Puckett EMS transported the patient to Sullivans Landing. Life Force then transported the patient.
