Summer reading programs soar at Chattanooga Public Library

News 12 This Morning: CPL Executive Director, Will O’Hearn joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to highlight this summer’s library achievements and upcoming events.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Public Library has a jam-packed schedule year-round and especially during the summer months.

The five branches are offering a variety of events and interactive activities for people of all ages.

Summer reading programs are already going strong with more books read this year than in 2023.

Executive Director, Will O’Hearn highlights some of the events going on this summer, including an upcoming ‘Ren Fair’ with medieval activities.
