New study finds Chattanooga has bad drivers who like to speed
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A new analysis by Consumer Affairs has bad news for Chattanooga drivers.
We rank fourth in Tennessee for bad driving and the state does not compare well with the national averages.
Consumer Affairs compared fatal crash data.
And Chattanooga rated particularly poorly for speeding fatalities and just plain old bad driving.
Our speeding fatalities are almost double the state average.
Memphis and Knoxville are the worst driving cities in Tennessee.
But eight cities, including Chattanooga, are above the national average for crash fatalities.
