Primary election day in Hamilton County reminders

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Primary Election Day is tomorrow here in Hamilton County.

The election includes party primaries for federal and state lawmakers.

In Hamilton County, there are also races for judge and the school board.

Local Campaigns are urging folks to get out and vote in the local election.

“Large elections presidential elections are extremely important but our local elections are crucial as well. So, I feel like it’s our duty to help spread the word, because we are running into so many people who aren’t realizing that an election that’s going on,” said Katelyn Statom, Judge Alex McVeagh’s Campaign Manager.

Local precincts will open its doors for voting starting at 8 A-M and run to 8 P-M.
