Local baker makes Chattanooga sweeter with Lolo’s Sweet Treats

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — An extremely gifted baker is making Chattanooga a bit sweeter.

Lolo’s Sweet Treats is a home-based bakery that specializes in cupcakes, cakes and other desserts for any occasion.

Head baker extraordinaire, Lauryn Rucker developed her love for baking at a young age.

She carried that affection into her college years by selling treats on campus at UTC and baking them in her dorm.

Now, she caters weddings, birthdays and everything in between.

Everything is made from scratch, down to the cake and buttercream. All her treats are nut-free as well.

Lolo’s Sweet Treats caters to parts of Nashville and Chattanooga, since Rucker grew up in the Nashville area.

They offer deliver to all areas of Chattanooga within a 10 mile radius from downtown.

The bakery is offering a special deal this week– the first 10 people to order a dozen of cupcakes will receive four additional packs of cupcakes at no charge. You can also order a four pack of cupcakes at $15 and get an extra two cupcakes at no cost.
