Former Cleveland coach sentenced for locker room photos
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — A former coach from Cleveland has been sentenced to five months in prison on charges of photographing underage girls.
Christopher Dalton Schroll was sentenced to 5 months in jail, along with 3 years and 7 months of probation.
According to court documents, Schroll will be required to be “supervised under the Sex Offender Directives, and shall comply with Sex Offender Laws and all requirements of the Sex Offender Registry.”
He must also wear an ankle monitor 90 days after being released.
Schroll will have no contact with any school system, including Cleveland High School.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Aggravated Unlawful Photographing of a Minor, on March 22, 2024.
Schroll was accused of putting a camera in the girls locker room at Cleveland Middle.
Students located the camera, but by then, it had already recorded at most 30 girls.
Investigators say it was positioned to take upskirt photos.
