Rabbits rescued from local home seeking adopters, owner speaks out
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Humane Society of the United States and the McKamey Animal Center assisted in a rabbit rescue a little over 3 weeks ago.
Over 100 rabbits were removed from the home of an overwhelmed caregiver.
The caregiver, Mike, spoke out and told his story.
Mike went onto say in an interview that the rabbit population got out of hand due to ongoing health challenges.

These rabbits were transported to temporary shelters for medical treatment and care.
Now, the rabbits are ready for the next stage in their adoption journey.
