Student charged for school threat at Chattanooga Preparatory School

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Thursday evening, the HCSO School Resource Deputy at Chattanooga Preparatory School was notified that a student threatened violence to two teachers.

After an investigation, it was discovered that the student made a verbal threat to kill two teachers at the school.

The student was placed into custody and taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The student is being charged with Threats of Mass Violence on School Property.

There is no threat to any of the students or faculty at the school.
