Two arrested by HCSO after 2 pounds of fentanyl recovered
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) arrested two individuals after recovering 2 pounds of fentanyl.
HCSO detectives with the Narcotics and Special Investigations Unit assisted the HCSO SWAT team in executing a search warrant for 3127 Dwight Street September 10.
When teams arrived at the residence, they made several announcements they had received a search warrant.
At first, the occupants refused to comply and exit the residence.
Shakayla Nicole Watkins eventually came outside, with Gregory Antonio Lee still refusing.
Lee also eventually exited the residence, and surrendered.
HCSO reported they recovered multiple items from the residence, including:
- 1.8 pounds (835 grams) of Fentanyl
- 0.6 pounds (299 grams) of Cocaine
- 0.08 pounds (39 grams) of Marijuana
- Illegal Pill Press
- Glack 43x handgun
- $33,772 in US currency
Shakayla Nicole Watkins is being charged with the following:
- Tampering with Evidence
- 2 counts of Drugs for Resale
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of a Firearm while in commission of a felony
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Gregory Antonio Lee is being charged with the following:
- Tampering with Evidence
- 3 counts of Drugs for Resale
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of a Firearm while in Commission of a Felony
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
