Chattanooga Police respond to South Beech Street shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a person shot call on South Beech Street last night.

At 11:45 p.m., CPD reported officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of South Beech Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old male with serious injuries.

Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene, and transported the victim to a local hospital.

CPD’s Homicide Unit responded to conduct an investigation on the shooting.

Investigators are working to obtain any preliminary information.
