Local Boy Scouts “shoot for the moon” in this year’s fundraiser

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Fall is officially here and meaning it’s pie season all across the nation, especially here in the birthplace of the extraordinary MoonPie.

To commemorate the season, the Cherokee Area Council Boy Scouts of America are aiming to “shoot for the moon” and have launched their MoonPie fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale will go directly toward the troops and the council to continue their activities to foster community and build life skills.
