Hamilton County lauches new out-of-school program locator

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga 2.0 has now released its new out-of-school time locator. 

The free online tool is designed to help Hamilton County Schools educators and families.

The locator connect students with more than 4-hundred local afterschool programs. 

Parents and teachers can filter programs by zip code, age, grade, and other factors.

“This program locator will play a really, really important role in helping adults, whether they are parents or teachers, locate programs in their zip code that align with children’s interests and help them meet those needs for kids,” said brandon Hubbard-Heitz, Director of Literacy and Student Strategy at Chattanooga 2.0.
