Driver in Trace Adkins Concert Rampage Is From Cleveland, TN
Investigators say he was a food vendor at the show.
They say he apparently got involved in a dispute that began during the ATV Festival in Huntsville, TN.
He wasn’t involved in it to begin with, but got drug in after the show.
Investigators say he had been drinking and made threats.
They say he got into his vehicle and drove into a field with about 50 people in it after the show.
Witnesses say it looked like he was aiming for specific people and vehicles.
One person was killed, and several more wounded.
The man who died was not involved in the fight.
Witnesses say a man was hanging onto the 4-Runner and Tony Farrell leaped in to help, but was run over.
The Indiana man was a former Monster Truck driver himself.
He owned a trucking company and drove the Monster Truck Blue Thunder for a few years.
Farrell’s son was also injured in the incident.
Right now, Carson faces charges of criminal homicide and reckless endangerment, but those could be upgraded as the investigation continues.
Investigators believe he also fired shots at someone, but didn’t hit anyone.
Carson faces a court date on Wednesday in Huntsville, but that could be postponed.
