HCSO uses PIT Maneuver to assist in arrest

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) had to use a PIT Maneuver today to aid in arresting a suspect with outstanding warrants.

Boulevard.

White was wanted on multiple charges, with one being Attempted First-Degree Murder.

White led detectives on a brief pursuit that ended in using a PIT Maneuver.

During the pursuit, White discarded a handgun.

That handgun was found, and it had been determined to be stolen.

HCSO reported White was also found with various illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

White was taken to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center and was charged with the following:

Outstanding Warrants:

   •   Attempted First-Degree Murder
   •   Aggravated Assault
   •   Domestic Violence Assault
   •   Vandalism
New Charges:
  •   Felony Evading
   •   Reckless Endangerment
   •   Tampering with Evidence
   •   Possession of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony
   •   Possession of Marijuana
   •   Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
   •   Possession of Fentanyl
   •   Driving on Revoked License
   •   Theft of Property
