W Road closure extended & Cooley Road closure update

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  There are some road closures around the county that will affect drivers commutes.

The W Road is now rescheduled to open tomorrow evening, November 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

The W Road was originally scheduled to reopen today, November 4, 2024 since closing October 14.

Drivers should plan to use Signal Mountain Boulevard or Roberts Mill Road to access and/or leave Signal Mountain.

Residents of the W Road will still have access and local deliveries to Walden’s Ridge Park will remain open.

Cooley Road, between Possum Trail Road and Birchwood Pike, will be closed tomorrow, November 5, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This closure is taking place so that crews can replace a storm pipe.

Drivers should use the detours in the map pictured in this article.

Residents who live within this area will still have access to their homes.
