Jackson man arrested in Nashville for homicide in Chattanooga
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A man from Jackson, Tennessee, has been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion that occurred nearly four years ago.
Travien Cenar Reddick, 23, was taken into custody on November 1, 2024, in Nashville by the Tennessee State Patrol.
Three gang members from West Tennessee had traveled to Chattanooga to rob former gang member Travis Patrick.
Patrick was living with his cousin at the time.
Reports show that Reddick and the other gang members intended to steal money and drugs from Patrick.
Patrick had arranged to meet one of the gang members, Antoine Allen, at a gas station to sell him marijuana.
When Allen and the others arrived, they forced Patrick back to his house at gunpoint.
Upon arriving at the residence on the 8500 block of Standifer Gap Road, Allen ordered Patrick to let them inside.
Once inside, Allen threatened Patrick, saying, “Give us everything or I’m going to kill everyone in the house.”
Patrick managed to grab his own gun and shot Allen multiple times, killing him.
He then fought off the other two gang members, firing shots at them as they sped away in their car.
Some of the gunfire struck a nearby home, where a woman and her 14-year-old daughter were sleeping.
Bullets broke through the walls and windows, but fortunately, no one in the home was injured.
When officers arrived, they found Allen dead in Patrick’s kitchen.
Inside the residence, they discovered several guns and shell casings.
Outside, officers located a Dodge Charger containing four large metal containers filled with bags of marijuana.
Investigators were able to connect the suspects to the GetBack Gang, a known violent group from West Tennessee.
The getaway car, a Chevrolet Malibu belonging to Reddick, was later found in Crockett County.
Bullet holes in the car matched those fired by Patrick.
Authorities believe this invasion led to a revenge shooting in Alamo, Tennessee.
GetBack Gang members targeted a house belonging to the father of Patrick’s cousin.
After Allen’s death, GetBack Gang members posted violent videos online, threatening those involved in the incident.
Reddick is facing several charges, including:

- Aggravated Kidnapping
