Gratefall returns to provide a free Thanksgiving luncheon to everyone
Dawn Hjelseth joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to invite people and volunteers to Gratefull, an annual Thanksgiving luncheon in Chattanooga.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The annual Thanksgiving tradition returns to East Martin Luther King Boulevard which invites everyone to one long table for a meal and to meet new friends.
The luncheon takes place on November 21 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on the 200 block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Dawn Hjelseth promises that the event is “free to attend, with no agenda or expectations, just an open invitation to gather and enjoy a meal as a community.”
Parking will be available around the area, the lot closest to the event will be reserved for the elderly or those with disabilities.
The event also provides community support as the event encourages donations for Maclellan Shelter for Families. Items in need include non-perishable food, hygienic supplies, and laundry supplies.
Gratefull needs volunteers for the event. To sign up, go to ihelpchattanooga.org or contact Dawn Hjelseth at River City Company, at dawn@rivercitycompany.com or by calling (423) 265-3700
