Thanksgiving meals donated to 200 Bradley County families

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office and Cleveland Police Department teaming up with the Lynn Jones Foundation to give 200 Thanksgiving meals to families in need.
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF)- 200 families in Bradley County will have a meal for Thanksgiving thanks to a donation.
The Lynn Jones Foundation teamed up with Bradley County and Cleveland School Resource Officers to take meals to families in need this holiday season.
Families are chosen based on recommendations from those SRO’s from their assigned school.
Lynn Jones, who runs his own foundation, then organizes the hundreds of full meals, and says this is the result of a team effort.
Lieutenant Evie West of the Cleveland Police Department said of his efforts, “He really relies on the school resource officers who are with kids everyday and sees their needs every single day. When their parents drop them off or through the relationship they build with their children, they’re about to find out, “Do you need food? Do you need clothing? What do you need?”
Food City also was a part of this meal giveaway effort.
